MUSIC IN THE LIFE OF THE PEOPLE

INTRODUCTION: The proposed activity on this blog is embedded in the curriculum for eighth grade (NB6) prepared by the Curriculum and Evaluation Unit of the Ministry of Education of Musical Arts. Specifically
the first unit "An approach to the music of our time," you are five contents, in the first of which states:

"Music in the lives of individuals and groups. Recognition and Measurement major musical practices conducted in the community, region, country. Comparison with examples from other cultures.
to develop this content The program offers various activities, one of which is:

"Example 3: Learn songs or hymns to identify the members of the local community, regional and national (the anthem of an institution, a patriotic song or other). Strengthen the domain melodic, rhythmic, formal and textual National Anthem of Chile. "

In this case I developed a similar activity involving ICT `s as a means to address the aforementioned content, which is described below:
Students develop a PowerPoint presentation based on Hymn of the policeman content, thus analyzed text, understand its meaning, and reinforce the dominance of the melodic line, to listen to repeatedly. Therefore address the content to try and make it a much more didactic and technological. Later sing in groups, watching the pitch, square and diction.
